‘Kick-Ass’ actress Chloe Moretz is hopeful director Matthew Vaughn will make a sequel to the hit movie and ask her to reprise her role as Hit Girl.
Chloe Moretz expects there will be a ‘Kick-Ass’ sequel.
The 13-year-old actress – who played foul-mouthed assassin Hit Girl in the first movie – believes there is no doubt that director Matthew Vaughn will want to make a second film in the series.
She said: “Will there be a sequel? I don’t know. Matthew said 50/50, but I reckon so, how could he not do it?”
Before she can work on a ‘Kick-Ass’ sequel, Chloe is currently working in the UK, shooting ‘Hugo Cabret’ – based on the book ‘The Invention of Hugo Cabret’ – with director Martin Scorsese and is enjoying the experience.
She told BANG Showbiz: “I’m filming a movie here called ‘The Invention of Hugo Cabret’ with martin Scorsese directing it.
“It’s awesome, it’s all in 3D so it’s a different experience. And working with Martin Scorsese is amazing.”
Chloe recently revealed she wanted to appear in a ‘Kick-Ass’ sequel because screenwriter Jane Goldman had promised to give her character a motorbike.
She said: “I would love to be Hit Girl again, get back into the suit and get a purple
“I was promised by Jane Goldman! She told me that in the second one, if there is a second one, I would get a purple Ducati with Gatling guns. It’s an emotional contract.”
